DRAFTSPERSON

The Bathla Group was established in 1997 and is thriving as one of the largest property developers and builders in New South Wales and Victoria, having completed over 10,000 dwellings since its humble beginnings. About the Role :

  • Demonstrated experience in architectural drafting using REVIT for Apartments
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and constructions plans/documentation utilising Revit software
  • Responsible for Concept plan drafting, Floor plans, elevations and colour schemes drafting, documentation for Council Development Applications & Constructions Certificates
  • Update design/drafting as per latest information and requirements
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • You have a strong and creative portfolio that demonstrates your design/drafting and craft experience in architectural projects

FUNDING MANAGER

About the role 

The purpose of the Funding Manager role is to manage the portfolio of lenders to ensure these relationships are ‘win-win’ and to ensure our cost of funds is appropriate in this everchanging market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with current and potential lenders, promoting The Bathla Group
  • Identifying the best available ‘deals’ in the market
  • Preparing Credit Submissions, outlining the key features and risks associated with the asset.
  • Understand loan terms, ensuring they are commensurate with risk and well-priced in the property debt finance market
  • Providing appropriate reporting to Lenders about the performance of the assets
  • Ensuring settlement of loans is a smooth, stress free process
  • Manage construction drawdowns
  • Ensuring the repayment of loans is timely
  • Manage loan variations, extensions and early repayments
  • Understand the loan book portfolio and identify areas of improvement from within the portfolio, in 90 day cycles
  • Reporting the status of the portfolio to the Executive team
  • Managing general enquires with Lenders
  • Ensuring data integrity of all loan data in the systems.
  • Evaluating business processes in loan management, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Providing input into audit processes.
  • Ongoing collaboration with the Executive Team and other functions within our business

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in finance or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of commercial finance, including the real estate debt markets
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum 5 years’ in a loan management or portfolio management role
  • Previous experience in banking and/or non-bank roles, specific to property development finance

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Officer who will take pride in our portfolio, keeping our sites to an impeccable standard of safety. This will require current knowledge of the applicable legislation and the ability to drive a positive culture through leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inductions
  • Review and monitor contractors’ SWMS
  • Oversee general site safety on sites.
  • Be the part of site safety meetings
  • Analysing site practice and implementation of improved practices
  • Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
  • Help promote WHS&E awareness on site
  • Ensure compliance with the all Site Management Plans
  • Maintain all WHS&E records for projects on site
  • Work with contractors and site teams to eliminate and reduce workplace risks.
  • Assist the Safety Team to implement WHS&E procedures on our sites

About You:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, in Australia
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental standards in the residential property building industry
  • Strong knowledge of Safe Work Procedures
  • You are able to establish safe work practices on a building site and take pride in each sites safety, cleanliness and overall appearance.

About the Role:

This is a multi-site role to oversee and ensure our residential properties are delivered to the highest standards and with zero defects.

We want our purchasers to be overwhelmed with excitement when they get the keys to their new home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and maintaining the quality of I&TP’s
  • Subcontractor audits and reporting
  • Compiling in-depth defect registers and ensuring each item is closed out
  • Maintaining our Quality Management System
  • Regular reporting to the Executive Team
  • Developing and compiling construction methodology documentation to ensure that repeat defects are eliminated
  • Ensuring that non-conformance is documented and rectified through Non-conformance Reports (NCRs)
  • Using your own experience and skills to train and coach site staff and sub-contractors on correct methodology
  • Producing a defect rectification program
  • Working closely with the WHS&E team to ensure that our sites are safe & clean sites

About You:

You have:

  • 5 years minimum of on-site knowledge in both single dwellings and multi-residential construction in Sydney
  • Civil Construction and/or Residential Building experience
  • Experience in managing a quality management system in the building and construction environment
  • Awareness of relevant Australian Building standards
  • Knowledge about ISO quality standards

About the role:

The purpose of the Executive Assistant role is to manage the CEO’s plethora of priorities to ensure time is allocated to the highest and best use matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the CEO’s phone calls and directing calls to the appropriate person
  • Calendar management, including setting internal and external meetings
  • Attend meetings, record action items, distributing them to the appropriate person and ensuring the actions are completed in a timely manner

  • Provide high-level administrative support
  • Ensure meetings are pre-planned and effective

Contract Administrator

Position: Full TimeSalary Range – $70,000 – $90,000 per year

Based in Sydney’s Greater West, with an expanding footprint across New South Wales and beyond. We are a multi-diverse workforce with over 16 languages spoken and over 500 staff members as a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly site meetings.
  • Advise relevant parties of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project.
  • Provide support to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated time frames.
  • Update and maintain notices of delay and extensions of time registers.
  • Notify clients of any issues, special circumstances or breaches of contract.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current.
  • Prepare contracts for suppliers and subcontractors highlighting relevant issues specific to the project.
  • Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions.
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.

Skills & Experience

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assembling, installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems, devices, equipment, appliances and machines on construction sites.
  • Inspecting electrical systems, devices, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults.
  • Collecting data, performing tests, and complex calculations, estimating materials, costs and quantities.
  • Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards.
  • Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing electrical equipment and installations to conform to regulations and safety requirements.

Position: Full Time

We are seeking painter, the role is primarily responsible for preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces.
Erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paints plattering. Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives. Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays. Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges, Cleaning equipment and work areas.
